How to Install the Konig Self-Tensioning Snow Tire Chains on a 2013 Dodge Durango

Today on our 2013 Dodge Durango with tire size 265/60/R18s well be test fitting the Thule tire chains, part number TH2004705265, Well begin our test fit by sliding the chains over our tire, making sure that the chains are centered with the tire tread. After we make sure that the chains are draped and centered on the tire well connect the side chained together here on the outside at the 12 oclock position. Well connect the red hook to the red chain link on the other side. Well then make sure that our chains are centered with the tire tread and allow them to move around the tire. Now here at the six oclock position well take the side chain andn our red tension holding device, slide the chain through the holding device and pull it tight. After weve pulled it tight well grab the red hook here at the chain tensioning device and bring it down and hook it into the side chain access that we just ran through the holding device.

With that we can then roll the vehicle back and forth and make sure that our chains are tensioning correctly. With that, our chains are on and were ready to head out into the ice and snow. That completes our test fit of the Thule tire chains, part number TH2004705265 with tire size P265/60/R18s on our 2013 Dodge Durango.
