How to Install a Trailer Wiring Harness on a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado

Alright, today on a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado 3500, were going to install part number 50-97-410. First thing to do is find a location in the bed to drill out for a triple connector. Were going to drill out in this location right here (drilling). Alright now, well take a wire, run it through the hole and out through the bottom of the truck (drilling). Next well disconnect the natural connector 4-7 pole that's inside the bumper. There's a little locking tab, that removes, the gray one that's kind of hidden so you're going to take some time taking it apart.

Once we have it apart, we'll take our wire harness. Its like a tee connector so we'll plug in back into the one side, then install a lock, then install a connector on the other side. All the connections are made now we go and take the wires and zip tight, safe and out of the way. With that, that will finish for our install part number 50-97-410 from Bargemen on our 2012 Chevrolet Silverado.
