How to Install the Valterra Heating and A/C Vent Register on a 2016 Winnebago Spirit Motorhome

What's up everybody It's AJ with Today we're gonna be checking out this Valterra Vent Register. So this is gonna be used for helping you direct that air flow in your rig. And getting that air where you need it the most. Let's check it out. Now, this is a ceiling vent register, but it isn't uncommon for it to be down towards the ground if there's vents on your motor home or your rig that are there.

That's our setup today. Still works the exact same. You can rotate the vent and point that air actually where you need it. So you're not stuck with it just coming out one way and not being able to adjust it. And it's easy enough, you do it one finger to rotate that vent around.

Whether you're using it for AC or heat, it's gonna work the exact same way. Now the dimensions for our vent are gonna be five and a half inch diameter to the outside to outside. The inside's gonna be four inches right here on the actual vent portion. Now they do come in a couple different colors. So make sure you look on the website and get the right one for your setup.

As far as install goes, it's not too bad. Just two screws and pop off the old one. Put the new one in. Check out how I did it. This is where we're gonna replace our vent.

So we're just going to take this put it where the old one was. It slides right back into place. I'm gonna try and line up our holes that we're existing. We're lucky enough that the old vent only had two holes or two screws put in to fasten it to the wall here. So those look like they line up pretty easily. And then just bring the screwdriver, and carefully put those screws in. You're gonna do the same thing on the other side. It really is that easy to get installed. Just those two screws. And then your vent register's ready to go. I like that we replaced the old cover that doesn't rotate, so I couldn't change how the air flow worked. But now, I can get it to put the air wherever I want it, whenever I need it. I think that does it. Thanks for hanging out and hope this helped..
