Lowering Exhaust for a Hitch Installation

The first step to do is to lower the exhaust and we will do that by taking off the rubber hangers on the front and back, and there is one hidden in the back.

We just spray them down with WD-40 and just slide them off and lower the exhaust. That gives us a little bit more working room right there.

Okay, and then do not forget you have to put the muffler back up. So we will spray down the hangers a little bit and then slide them right on. Check the clearance and make sure it does not bounce. We have about, maybe three quarters of an inch, so that should do fine.
