Review of the Blue Ox Base Plate and Receiver Lock Kit

All right, today, we're going to show you the Blue Ox Base Plate and Receiver Kit, part number BX 88101. With this part number this is what you get. You get three locks, this also comes with the three keys. Three different diameters, this diameter for your Blue Ox tow bars, and this diameter is a five eight stitch pin. Some features on the locks here, you see this is our lock here, and that's the barrel the key fits into. And they all have a snap on cap to help keep out dirt and debris. They also have an all chrome finish, and also on the inside edges here they have texture here to give you some grip with your fingers. Let's go ahead and show a typical application with the tow bar.

All rihgt, let's go ahead and unlock it. Quarter turn, pull apart. Put our lock back on the other side. Quarter turn, back out. Put our cap into place.

And now our tow bar is secured to our hitch and locked in place, and can be used for regular towing as well.
