Review of the Buyers Products Lunette Rings Lock

Hi everyone John here. And today we're taking a look at the buyers product lock for two and a half to three inch Lunette rings at etrailer. So let's say that you're going to leave your trailer in a area. Maybe it's a lot. Maybe you're leaving it at home for a while and you just want a little extra security, maybe just a deterrent. That's where this is going to come in handy.

You're going to be able to throw this on very quickly and then have a little extra security for your trailer. Now let's take a closer look at what's made up of this and then also show the installation. Now, as you can see, it is two pieces that are made out of a carbon steel with a zinc outer plating. So that's going to help whenever it comes to being a nastier weather, not having to worry about rust or corrosion. So that's something obviously if you're keeping this on for a long period of time, something that you want.

Now let's look at it next to the Lunette ring that we're going to be using today. This is going to work on all two and a half to three inch Lunette rings. Along with that, you're going to be able to use any half inch lock. I do recommend maybe a shorter lock like we have today with our master lock system. As you can see, it is not going to have something.

It's going to be easily accessible. Whenever you have it in there. You're not going to have to worry about them getting in with bolt cutters or anything like that. You're just going to be able to keep it safe and out of the way. Now the installation is relatively simple.

Just have to make sure that it's held in place. Once you get it like this, you may want to pinch it in. I don't have too much of a problem cause then I can just turn it. Let's see. There we go. As you can see it is latched on there. It isn't the most. Let's see. Yeah, it's not the most on there lock I've ever seen. It's definitely moving around a bit, but obviously if you get the key out, nothing's going to be able to get in there. It's locked. It's safe. So the jostling around, isn't something to worry about. If you have a tighter ring, you're not going to have to worry about the jostling as much. But as you can see, there's really no way for someone to get in there and break that lock. It's almost like a turtle it's protecting itself with this metal plating on the outside. So somebody can't come in with bolt cutters. As you saw, the installation was very simple. You do have to play around with it a little bit, get it in the right position, but overall, if you're planning on leaving your trailer out and it's already going to be secured, maybe in a lot or something like that, I definitely recommend getting one of these, considering that it's just a little extra precaution. It's for all intents and purposes very secure. As you can see, the master lock itself is protected. And the master lock that we have is also already a good quality product. So as long as you pair it with the right kind of lock, I don't see there being too much of a problem. Now, if you're planning on leaving this at a work site or any kind of other equipment, I would go for maybe a little bit of a stronger, more intense lock system for your ring. But overall, I think that this works as just a deterrent, but also in case, you're going to be gone for a month or two leaving this in a lot. Think it's a good choice. And that was a look at our buyers product lock for two and a half to three inch Lunette rings here at etrailer. My name's John and I hope that helped..
