Review of the Buyers Products Aluminum Wheel Chock

Randy: Hey guys. It's Randy here at etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at a solid aluminum heavy duty wheel chock from Buyers. This wheel chock's going to work out really well in just about any situation where you need a wheel chock, but with the large size it's really going to come in handy when you've got larger RVs, camper trailers, even semi trailers with the profile it has and the nice large angle should do a great job in any application. Now as you can see, the solid aluminum design is uncoated, hollow interior, so it's really nice and lightweight. It's going to do a great job resisting corrosion. We should really shouldn't have to worry about those issues at all.

I also like the nice large aggressive teeth that it has here on the back and the smaller ends here on the front. That's going to keep it from sliding around or moving, especially on harder surfaces like we have here with the concrete. See the handle located here on the top. It makes it easy to get ahold of. Just slide it in there where you want it.As far as measurements go, side to side, we're looking at six inches.

Front edge to the back edge is going to be about 12 inches. Then from the ground to the top of the chock, we're looking at seven. When we compare this wheel chock to other wheel chocks that we have available, I think it does a good job. It's going to be a wheel chock. They're made to serve a purpose. It's a little bit lighter than what we get out of the solid rubber style chock so moving it around won't be as difficult.

It's definitely a lot lighter than what we get out of the solid steel type wheel chocks. Overall, just like the rubber counterpart, rust and corrosion really isn't going to be an issue. All in all, I think it's going to be a good wheel chock. It will serve the purpose.
