Review of the Buyers Products Wheel Chock with Handle

Randy: Hey guys, Randy here at etrailer again. Today we've got a Buyers wheel chock out. We've been taking a look over it. Overall, it's a really nice, heavy duty wheel chock. It's got a handle on it here at the end, easy to get a hold of and grab. I think it's going to come in handy, especially if you want to carry this around with just one hand. You can see, really nice, thick, heavy duty rubber.

It's very dense, so we're not going to have to worry about this ripping or tearing, and also because it's rubber, road salt, grime, dirt, debris, stuff like that. You're not going to have to worry about soaking in, won't have to worry about sun fading or anything like that. Now, with the size, we're looking at ten inches by eight inches, and then five inches in height. Basically, this is going to be used for . Well, you could use it for just about any kind of trailer, but you're going to see them most often in your larger truck applications, RV applications and thinks like that. Now, you notice the handle, plenty of room to get your hand in there. Now, I've seen smaller handles on them.

A lot of times, you're just going to see eye bolts that stick through, and then you'll tie a rope to that. And there are some that have slightly larger handles on them. It's a little bit on the heavier side. It's not too terribly heavy, but if you want something that's going to be a little bit lighter than this, Buyers makes a really nice polyurethane one, about the same size that you can use.But overall, this is going to give you a good, long lasting product and certainly something that you're not going to have to worry about wearing out, anything like that. The ridges here are going to help to engage that tire and as it rolls forward, it applies downward pressure, that's going to help that bottom area there get good grip.

Fully rubberized, good traction there. You shouldn't have to worry about slipping or any kind of issues like that. All in all, I think this is going to be a really good wheel chock for you. If you're looking for a larger type wheel chock like this, I like the fact that it's not the largest, so it's still kind of manageable with one hand. We can get it in and out, with that handle being able to slide it in, not have to reach in under the tires. All in all, I think it'll be a good product and it should serve you very well.
