Today we'll be taking a look at the Carr Hitch Mounted Step for 2 inch Trailer Hitches, part number CARR183012. The Carr Hitch Step allows for easier access into your truck bed, cargo area, or roof rack. The step platform is 5 inches long by 2.5 inches wide. The step platform is made out of a non-skid surface. The step easily folds up in a compact position with a reflected finish for a sleek look. When installed on your vehicle, it helps to keep dirt and debris out of your hitch. The hitch set has a powder-coat finish, so it's strong, durable, and rust resistant.

It has a 650-pound weight capacity. This is also adaptable for your front hitch to get into the engine compartment of taller vehicles. To secure this to your hitch, you'll need a hitch pin and clip, or a hitch lock which we have available at etrailer.com. The hitch step itself has a limited lifetime warranty.
