Review of the Draw-Tite Quickee Circuit Tester

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Draw-Tite Quickee Circuit Tester. Part number 3808. This circuit tester is handy to have around for verifying wire setups, probing wires, and checking polarity. You can use it to quickly test low voltage up to 12 V. Its small size allows it to be used in tight places. It features a hooded probe to help protect your fingers when testing wires, and it features a replaceable bulb. Now that we got all the features, I'll go ahead and show you how it works. First thing we'll do is we take our alligator clip and we're going to attach it to exposed metal. That's going to be our ground. Once we know we've got a good ground, we can go ahead and begin testing. I've already got my running lights on, so let's go ahead and check those. We're looking for the light as you see there, so we know those are working. Now we're going to have a bunny run through the rest of the functions and verify those. There's our left blinker, and as you can see the blinkers are working. As you can see our breaks are working, we've got a solid light on both left and right side. Now we'll go ahead and show you how the probe works.

We're right here at the back of or RV and we need to test our right turn signal. What we're going to do is clip it around the wire and just probe it through. What we're looking for is a flash just like that. That's going to complete our look at the Draw-Tite Quickee Circuit Tester. Part number 3808.
