Review of the Inno Roof Cargo Carrier on a 2016 Subaru Outback Wagon

Today on our 2016 Subaru Outback Wagon, we're doing a test fit of the Inno Wedge 660 rooftop cargo box. The part number for this is INBRM660BK. Now, this is 11 cubic feet of space. We've got it set on our crossbars here. Great thing about it is that it's adjustable to fit multiple different style crossbars and size crossbars. We've also got three of our four feet down and secure.

We're going to use memory clamps for that which I will explain. I will be using a step stool just to step up here. We're going to start by unlocking our side. Now, a great thing about the Inno cargo box is that with our side unlocked, we cannot actually open up or pull out that key. But to open it, we're going to push on our black button here and just lift up on our box. Here's one of our memory clamps.

This is the one we'll be installing. What great about these is that when you close them and open them each time, it's going to remember what setting you have it set on. If you want to take the box off of your vehicle, you aren't going to lose that section. All you'll have to do is just place it back on your crossbar and secure it in place. This also come equipped with tie down point here.

We have the extra tie downs that come with the box as well. We'll open that up. We'll see the weather stripping down in here. This is where we're going to insert our clamp. We're just going to check that.

It's a little loose so we'll start to tighten that up. Now, we don't want it too tight. We're just tightening it and loosening it using the grey knob here. All right. That's secure. You'll notice that these are touching here. But they aren't overlapping. You don't want them to overlap. That could cause damage. It's not going to be secure if they're overlapping as well. We can close this up. Now, this is accessible from both sides. We can lock that up, take our key out and use it for the other side. One other thing to note is that we will be able to keep that antenna on there. We're not going to have any interference at all or any touching from that box. We are going to gain full access into that back cargo area even when our box is installed. Again, we're not going to have any interference there. One other thing to keep in mind is that this does have a 110 pound weight capacity but you do want to check your vehicle's owner's manual to make sure that it can withstand that weight on the roof rack. That's going to be our completed look at the Inno Wedge 660 rooftop cargo box, part number INBRM660BK on our 2016 Subaru Outback Wagon.

The Inno Wedge Cargo Box # INBRM660BK measures 11" in height. This is how high it will sit above the crossbars on your vehicle's roof.
