Review of the Master Lock Laminated Steel Padlock

Clayton: Hello, everyone, Clayton here at etrailer.com, and today we'll be taking a look at the laminated Master Lock padlock. This lock is going to help us secure any of the gear we might be carrying in our trailer, or you can use it on a shed, or anything like that. This inaudible 00:00:16 coating is going to be corrosion-resistant; it's going to weather the weather really well. We have a nice cover to protect the internals of our lock, as well. All we have to do is take our keys, turn them in like a normal padlock, we can add it to our trailer, and then lock it down. Our kit is going to include two brass keys. Our blue urethane cover is going to keep any moisture, dirt, debris, and grime out of our locks, so it's really going to help our lock last a lot longer than your standard lock; you won't have to buy a new lock for a long time.

Our steel arm here is made out of a hardened steel, so it's going to be hard to cut and it's not going to weather hardly at all, so it's going to look great for a long time, but more importantly, it's going to be strong. Our lock cylinder is going to be a four pen design. What that means It's going to be really hard to pick, and you're not going to be able to drill it out. We'll only be able to get into it with our key, and having that hardened steel is going to keep anybody wanting to get in our trailer from cutting it. Our lock is also going to have dual pins inside to make it really hard to pry apart, as well, so that's going to add to the security of our lock. Our lock does have this really nice cover on the bottom; it's made out of that same urethane material.

It's going to protect the internals of our lock from any debris, weather, corrosion, anything that could happen with the internals of our lock are going to be protected with this cover. With all that being said, that's pretty much going to do it for our look at the Master Lock laminated steel padlock.
