Review of the Bully Black Bull Hitch Mounted Step
Speaker: Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Pilot Bully Black Bull Hitch Mounted Step for 2-inch hitches, Part #BBS-1102. This hitch mount and step provides a convenient stepping point to reach the rear for your SUV. It's also great for getting things into and out of the bed of your pick-up truck. The large surface is textured for a sure footing. Not only is it a convenient step but it also acts as a bumper guard to protect your vehicle from dings and scratches. It's made out of a heavy duty steel construction with a nice black matte finish so it's going to resist rust and corrosion.
It's dimensions are 19 inches long, by 3 and 3/4 inches tall, and has a weight capacity of 350 pounds. Now that we've gone through the features, I'll go ahead and show you how easy it is to get installed. You will need to provide your own pin and clip. If you don't have one, that's okay, you can find one here at etrailer.com, Part #PC3. Now, let's go ahead and feed it into our receiver. You'll notice that there are 3 pinholes, you just need to choose whichever one works best for your application. Slide it all the way in, line the pinholes up, grab our pin and clip, put that through, and then we're all set.
It does come with a hitch stabilizer to help reduce the rattle. It's got an adhesive strip on the back, just peel that off and use it to fill the gap on either one of the four sides. Now, if you like to add a little more security to your hitch step, you could pick up the trailer hitch receiver lock, Part #7683.
