Review of the Rhino Rack Roof Cargo Carrier on a 2016 Ford F-150
Today on this 2016, Ford F150, we're going to be test fitting the Rhino Rack Pioneer Platform Universal Mount Cargo Basket, part number RR42115BF. This measures 58 inches long by 47 inches wide. We have three of the feet already attached to the vehicle and we'll go ahead and show you how the last one goes on. Go ahead and start by taking our top part, that'll go on top of the crossbar, this plastic piece. Set that in place. We'll take our metal bracket.
Fit that in, as well, making sure that that goes in between this metal channel here on both sides, right along here. Okay, looks good. Then we'll take our Allen head bolts, with lock washer and flat washer. Put them through like so. Then we'll take our bottom clamp, this nice padded thing here, so it will not crush your crossbars. Put that up and we'll start tightening it down.
Loosely, at first. Then we use the Allen tool provided with the kit and finish tightening it down. As I'm tightening this down, this has many features that you can put onto it. A lot accessories that you can use. Such as gas can holders, light holders, which you can find at etrailer.com.
Once that's tightened down, everything's secure, and we're ready to go. There you have it for the Rhino Rack Pioneer Platform Universal Mount, part number RR42115BF, on our 2016 Ford F150.
