A few things to know about these cables, that they're created from airtight galvanized steel construction. It also uses drop forged steel hooks and spring loaded latches. In the cables themselves is a vinyl coating that keep from scratching and chipping at the tow bar. These are made in the USA.

Now, you can either take it off, or leave it in place and we'll attach this part to our base plate. Now, you definitely want to take a wrench and give it maybe a quarter turn as well. All right, a simple adjustable wrench will work fine in this application.
Okay, now we'll go ahead and take our hook and run it to the opposite side on our hitch. Now, we already have D rings already installed here. You can also run it straight to the hitch.
