Review of the Yakima LoadWarrior Roof Cargo Carrier on a 2015 Chrysler Town and Country

Today on our 2015 Chrysler Town & Country we will be test fitting the Yakima LoadWarrior roof-mounted cargo basket. That's part number Y07070. Now our Town & Country here today already has its factory rails installed. We've already pre-assembled our pads and put them in place so we can go ahead and begin by putting our basket on top of our rails. Once we get it on there I'll go ahead and walk to the front of the vehicle. I'll check to make sure it's all centered up.

That looks pretty good. Then we can go ahead and hop up there. What we'll do is we'll grab our clamps. Want to run that underneath and line it up with our hole and put our screw through. Once we've got that in place I'll grab one of my thumb screws, go ahead and tighten that down. We'll put our other one in.

This one's got a little T on it you see. We'll put that through, we'll turn it and make sure it locks in place, then we can tighten that one down. Now if you can tighten them evenly that would be the best bet for a nice secure fit. Once we've got that one in place we can move onto the back here. Again taking our clamp, we're going to run it up through the top part of our clamp there, grab our thumb screw, and take our other one, put that through, turn it to make sure it locks in place. Now this side is secure.

Now we'll run over there and finish up that side. Just like that side we're over here. We'll take our clamp. We're going to run our screw up through the center here. Take one of our thumb screws.

Now we're going to take this side, put that through, make sure it turns to lock it in place. That way it doesn't come back up through. Then tighten that side down. Now that we've got that secure we'll finish up our other side here. Then our basket is secured to our roof rack. Once last thing I'd like to mention is that our cargo basket will fit in most roof rack systems. That's going to complete our test fit of the Yakima LoadWarrior roof rack cargo basket, part number Y07070, on our 2015 Chrysler Town & Country. .
