Here you see we have it attached to our cooler just to keep our cooler from shifting side to side. We we're able to go all the way across our cargo carrier and back, ensuring it's nice and secure.The safe working load limit is 293 pounds, while the maximum load or break strength is 880 pounds and that's per strap. For a look at them in action, we took it out on our test course. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Inno Cam Buckle Cinch Strap. The cinching tie down lets you secure a variety of items to your cargo carrier or roof rack. This works with Inno Kayak Carriers INA452 and INA450 as well as the Kayak Lifter, INA453. The unit's gonna feature chrome plated cam lock buckle. It holds the strap tight over your gear. The plain end of the strap simply feeds through the buckle, and then all you have to do is pull that tight. The teeth on that buckle prevent it from going the opposite way, so that way you can only tighten it. When you're ready to loosen it or release the strap you just pull the buckle down and then pull the strap back out of the buckle. The material is a durable, abrasion resistant polyester webbing. more

Rhino-Rack Cam Buckle Cinch Straps Review

Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Rhino-Rack locking cam buckle cinch straps, part number RRRTD55L. These also come in eight and 3/16" long as part number RRRTD25L, as well as 11-1/2" long as part number RRRTD35L and finally in 14-13/16" long as part number RRRTD45L. The Rhino-Rack locking cinch straps are great for securing your cargo, whether it be on your cargo basket, your kayak carrier, or even your ladder rack. Each strap does have this nice rubber padding here to ensure that whatever it is you're hauling doesn't get scratched up. Also, since it does lock, your gear is going to be secure while you drive and it comes with two keys. Each strap has polyurethane coated steel wires on the inside, which is going to make the straps resistant to cutting. The straps have a load limit of 496 pounds and they also come with hook and loop straps to hold your straps in place while you're traveling, or whenever you're finished, to cinch them up and put them away for storage. Now that we've gone over some of the features, lets go ahead and show you how these install. We have it folded up here on our vehicle. more

Today we will be taking a look at the Rhino-Rack cam buckle cinch straps, part number RTD4. These straps are 13 feet long by 15/16ths inch wide. They are made of a durable polyester webbing. They feature a metal cam lock that are going to keep our straps tight over our gear. Another great feature about this strap is that it's got the Rhino-Rack logo on one side, so we know which side we are working with. These straps would be perfect for pairing with your Rhino-Rack basket or alloy tray or they can just be great for strapping things down to your Rhino-Rack rook rack system, which we are doing here today. The straps feature a 496 pound max load limit with 165 pound working load limit. As you can see the cinch is going to help us cinch it down nice and tight and secure to our roof rack. more

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Snap-Loc cam lock-style cinch strip. This is 2" wide, 8' long. The part number on it is SLLS28CR. Now this strap is going to offer us a 1,000 pound working load limit and a 3,000 pound break strength. Something that really stands out about it, as you can see here we've got the strap keeper. This keeps our strap nice and tidy when it's not in use so we don't have to worry about it coming all unraveled, getting dirty or knotted up. Now when it's time to use it it's as simple as open up the keeper and just let our strap unravel. more

Today well be taking a look at the Snap-Loc S-Hook Tie-Down Strap with Cam Buckle part number SLLS18 CSR. Now our cinch strap comes one inch by eight foot long and has two rubber-coated hooks, one on either end. Theres also a hook-and-loop strap that helps secure any excess strap once you have it pulled nice and tight or for storage. Now we can go ahead and go over how the Cam Buckle portion works. To tighten down the strap, you simply pull on this end. The Cam Buckle here grabs the webbing and doesnt allow it to pulled back through. more

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Erickson 5-1/2 foot cambuckle tie-down with a quantity of 4. It's part number 05605. The Erickson tie-down straps offer a quick lock cambuckle. As you can see here by pressing the button we can easily stretch out our strap. As soon as we release it it will grab our strap and prevent anymore from coming out. The vinyl coating on the hooks will prevent them from corroding as well as protecting our connection points from damage. The nylon straps have a width of 1 inch and a length of 5-1/2 feet. more
