Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today I'm gonna take a look at this etrailer Hitch Pin Alignment Collar for ball mounts, bike racks, cargo carriers, and even tow bars that fit onto a 2" hitch receiver. Now this hitch pin alignment collar will install onto your 2" hitch accessory and allows you to easily align the hitch pin hole on the shank of that accessory with the hitch pin hole on your hitch. Now I did want to demonstrate, so I happen to pull a 2" hitch receiver, you can see has a ball mount installed with a pin and clip. So basically what happens, this alignment collar goes on to the shank and it'll eliminate you having to get down on your hands and knees to align the hitch pin holes on the shank to install it with the pin and clip in the hitch pin of your hitch receiver. So just to show you what we're talking about, I'm gonna pick out the pin and clip, slide out the ball mount. more

Today, we're going to take a look at the inaudible 00:00:04 trailer hitch pin alignment collar for ball mounts and pintle mounds on a 2 1/2" hitch. This hitch pin alignment collar will install onto your 2 1/2" hitch accessory, and it'll allow you to easily align the hitch pin hole on the shank of that accessory with the hitch pin hole that's on your hitch.For this demonstration, I've actually pulled here, you can see, a 2 1/2" hitch, and I've pulled a 2 1/2" pintle mount that goes in the hitch, and it comes with the pin and the clip. Basically, this alignment collar will eliminate you having to get down on your hands and knees to align the hitch pin holes to install the pin and clip. It'll work perfectly on ball mounts, pintle hitch mounts, and other 2 1/2" hitch accessory. It's a very easy, one-time installation on most 2 1/2" hitch mounted accessories.I want to show you how that works. more

It's a very easy-to-use hitch locator. The Performance Tool trailer aligner helps you accurately line your vehicle up with your trailer. Our stainless steel, telescoping rods, have a magnetic base that attach to our coupler and our ball mount. We can extend these out, and the yellow foam balls help us eye out the connection. When extended, they're 41 inches tall, and they collapse down to 7 1/4 inches for convenient storage. As you can see, we're able to line up the balls, and easily back up and align our trailer. Today we're going to be reviewing part number MT70043. These are the MaxxTow Magnetic, Telescoping Trailer Hitch Aligners. Line your trailer up with your tow vehicle quickly and easily with this alignment kit. All you have to do is attach one magnetic rod to your trailer's coupler, and attach the other to your truck's ball mount, and then line up the balls in your rear-view mirror. You can see that, without the hitch aligners on, this is definitely a two-person job. I have my friend back here guiding and directing me, making sure that my hitch ball is going to line up with the coupler on my trailer. Now we have our hitch aligners in place, and we're simply going to back up. Make sure that we have them lined up with one another. As you can see, the way that we have them installed today is as soon as we had our ball underneath our coupler 00:00:53, one of the hitch aligners fell off, allowing us to know that our hitch ball was directly under our coupler. more
