Randy: Hey guys, it's Randy here at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the shock straps. Now, these are the 10 foot, one inch wide variety, they offer a 500 pound safe working load limit and a 1500 pound break strength. These are available either by the piece or we have them available in a two pack and, basically, what they've done is they've taken a cam buckle strap and enhanced some features on it, we'll talk about that in a minute, but they've added a shock right here. Review of Snap-Loc Tie Down Straps - Truck Bed - SLTHS104CLR- Video

Review of Snap-Loc Tie Down Straps - Truck Bed - SLTHS104CLR

Today we're taking a look at a Snap-Loc loop strap with S-Hook. Now this heavy duty strap with the S-Hook end is designed to simply secure truck and trailer ramps, and is great for all types of tie-down applications. So again, this is commonly used to secure a truck or trailer ramp to the vehicle or to the trailer. So that way when you're going up the ramp, the ramp doesn't kick out from underneath you.It features the rigid polyester webbing construction, so it will not snap back like nylon straps. This end features the S-Hook. So if we're using this on a vehicle to secure ramps to the tailgate of the truck, what we would do is we would use this, and maybe secure it to the anchor point near the trailer hitch. more

Review of Snap-Loc Tie Down Straps - Trailer,Truck Bed - SLTC102CR

Today we're taking a look at the Snap-Loc cam buckle cinch strap. This is a heavy duty cinching tie down that lets you secure cargo to your truck bed, trailer or ladder rack. Now this one only measures two feet long, so this one would be great for bundling piping or lumber together. It does feature the hook and loop strap wrapper, which keeps your excess strap in place, so that's gonna help prevent unused strap from tangling or flapping in the wind as you go down the road. Really nice design, so you just roll up any excess strap, place it in there, and then hook it together. That's also great for storing the strap, bundling it up when it's not in use.Right here, we have the cam lock buckle, which holds the strap tight over or around your gear or your cargo. The plane end feeds through the buckle, and then all you have to do is pull on that to tighten the strap over or around your cargo. We have nice durable steel buckle with a zinc plating to resist rust and corrosion. more

Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the Bulldog Winch Cinch Straps. Now these cinch straps secure loose ends of your tie-down straps to prevent flapping during transport. They can also be used to help keep your tie-down straps neat and organized when they're not in use, or when they're in storage like I have for demonstration purposes here today. I have my tie-down strap from Bulldog Winch, and I have one of the cinch straps wrapped around there secured, and you can see how it keeps everything bundled together. Neat and organized for the next time I'm ready to use it.Now the buckles on the unit allow you to basically adjust the strap link, so you place this around your load. You bring one end of the strap through the buckle, and now you can adjust that diameter that you need it to fit around, and then you an pull it tight. more

Erickson Tie Down Straps - Trailer - EM05729 Review

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Erickson motorcycle and ATV tie downs. Now, tie down straps are going to let you secure your motorcycle, dirt bike or ATV to your truck bed or trailer. One of the neatest features about these straps is that they feature this toothless, convenient and secure TCS tension and cam buckle system. This is designed to not cause any type of damage to the strap webbing. It's a really neat design. A traditional cam buckle has a serrated tooth design to it, and over time that can really cause some damage to the actual strap. more

Fred: Hi, this is Fred and Tris for the Shockstrap. Today we're going to do a pull off and show you exactly how we work compared to our competition. And again, Shockstrap itself, once you've stretched it and engaged it, that bottom hook doesn't come loose as you'll see shortly. And one of the things that we compare ourselves to our competition, a lot of folks like to see the size of the hooks. As you can see, most big box stores, this is what you get, and ours obviously is oversized. That comes into play when you've got a big quad, a side by side or even motorcycle handlebars. more

Heininger HithchMate QuickCinch Utility Straps Review- Video

Heininger HithchMate QuickCinch Utility Straps Review

Today we'll be taking a look at the HitchMake QuickCinch Utility Straps, 1" wide by 21" long, in black in a 10-pack, part number HE4084. The HitchMate Cinch Strap has a wide variety of uses, from inside the house, to outside the house, the garage and other everyday smaller items. The way that it works is that it features a hook and loop type fastening system to where there's these plastic fibers on this end of the strap and these softer fibers on this end of the strap and when it actually is closed those fibers kind of interlock and create a really nice strong hold. Now we'll go ahead and just go over a couple of quick applications. You can see here that we have a bike on a bike stand that can be used in your home or studio or in your garage, but sometimes the wheel and handlebars can move back and forth maybe coming in contact with some of the stuff in your garage, or if you have, if you're using your bike on a hitch-mounted bike rack or maybe a trunk-mounted bike rack. When you're traveling down the road, sometimes your handlebars will go back and forth and maybe hit the rear of your vehicle or come in contact with some of your other bikes. What we can actually do is we can use this HitchMate Cinch Strap to go around the rim and tire and back out the frame. Insert the end into the buckle and pull it tight. more

Hi friends. My name is Jeff and today I'm going to show you why you should use Lockstrap versus a regular locking cable. Lockstrap is a tie down strap that has an eight braided stainless steel cable running through the strap. It's actually harder to cut than a regular cable that you might use to lock up your equipment in the back of your truck. Just to show you today, we have a regular cable here. This is a pair of regular bolt cutters that you see everyday down in the store. more
