Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the NOCO Commercial Grade Battery Box for dual L16 batteries. This is perfect for installation on a boat or off grid solar systems. It can also be used on commercial equipment. It does feature a very functional design, so the lid on the unit is very easy to secure with the included hand knobs that simply thread into place. It is well ventilated with multiple exit points for battery fumes. Internally it features the acid resistant reservoir, which safely captures spilled battery acid.

I'll take the knobs off of here. That'll allow us to remove the lid. Then you can look internally. Nice design. It's got the bumpers down there on the bottom to help keep your batteries in place.

When it comes to the construction, we're looking at a UV resistant molded plastic construction. It's designed to maintain tough impact properties even down all the way to negative 20 degree fahrenheit.Also, on the unit we have multiple cable ports that provide entry hole options for heavy gage wires anywhere from four gage to zero gage wiring. There's going to be two cable ports located on each side of the box. Two on this side, two right here, two on this side, and, two on this side, so a total of eight. Pretty easy installation using the four corner fastening system.

It has the pre molded in mount holes. Mounting hardware's not included, but you can use those as a template for your mount holes. Again, hardware not included. The product is made in the USA.Taking a look at the overall dimensions. You can see here that the widest point of the box is really down here at the base.

That's going to be the longest point and the widest point. That measurement, outer edge to outer edge, going in this direction is 18 and 1/8 inches long by 15 and 11/16 inches wide. Overall height bottom to top is 19 and 5/8 inches tall. Internally, we have a length measurement of 14 and 3/8 inches long. Width measurement internally is 12 inches wide. Height measurement internally is 17 and 3/8 inches tall or deep. The mount holes on this unit are separated going in this direction by 14 and 11/16 inches. Then this direction on center by 17 inches.
