Michael: Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a quick look at the tie-down kit for your Truck Hero Elevate Rack System. This kit is going to provide you with four tie-down points to be used with your Truck Hero Elevate Rack System. These will slide into the T tracks that are on your truck beds side rails, or they can also be used on the top or bottom of the Truck Hero Rack's Crossbar. So it's going to give you a lot of different options, give you a convenient place to attach your ratchet straps or any of your other tie-down equipment so that you can make sure that all your gear is nice and secure.This can be tightened down completely to provide a nice solid attachment point, or you can loosen up the nuts on top of the bolts just slightly so that you can slide these around in those T tracks to quickly adjust to the position that you need if you are changing from one carrying set up to another. So these are going to fit together very easily, be very easy to get assembled and put into the place that you need them to be to provide those nice attachment points to ensure that all of your gear is going to be secure.
These tie-downs are a heavy duty plastic and our bolts are a nice heavy duty metal, so they're going to do a good job at lasting a nice long time providing those tie-down points for you.So that's going to complete our look for today. Just received and installed today, so don't have any experience with actual use so far. Very satisfied with product. Easy to install. I have a Retrax tonneau cover that I slightly modified to work with the GM Accessories sport bar, which I have offroad lights and radio antennas installed on. I was able to install on the tonneau cover rails without removing the sport bar because of the t-bolt design of the installation hardware. You can tell they thought this product through to be top quality because everything is bolted down with cap nuts instead of leaving threads open. Although material for tie-downs is not the same as the coating on the tonneau cover rails, the appearance looks identical. Also easy to relocate tie-downs to any position in rail to accommodate any and all loads that need securing by simply loosening the cap nuts, sliding the tie-downs to desired location, and retighten. All you need for installation and adjustment is a 13mm wrench. This product is the definition of keeping it simple.

These are the perfect tie downs to go with a T-slot track. I recently installed an Elevate rack system which is easy to take down by removing two bolts per tower. The only negative is that the shiny bolts remain and you can leave them showing or remove the end caps and slide them out ( bothersome and time consuming). The Elevate system already came with two tie down kits and I invested in this kit of four to cover up the bolts. Now in addition I have extra bolts and nuts as they fit the existing t-slot bolts in the event I ever need them.

Nice product at an affordable price. Installed it on a Retrax XR, so it gives me tie-down points above the top of the tonneau. With these tie downs I can carry flat items on top of the tonneau or better secure taller items when the tonneau is open .

The set came in with missing hardware.To the best efforts from etrailer customer service, truxedo was not interested in helping me to get the necessary hardware. Had to ship it back. And get a refund. After 3 months of etrailer and myself trying to communicate with manufacturer.

As good as the original four that came with the rails. I wanted an additional two on each side of the bed. These fit the bill.
