Does the Trailer Valet XL Permanently Attach to a Trailer Frame
Question:
I have used the other trailer valet dolly hand crank 5x and was looking at this one instead . I would like a dolly that doesnt mount to the frame of the trailer . From the description -the trailer mounts on the ball and off you go -correct ? No brackets or parts to mount on the trailer tongue . What keeps it upright ? Tongue weight ? Thanks for you time and help .

You are correct, the Trailer Valet XL part # TVXL2 does not attach to the trailer frame at all. Basically you just line up the hitch ball under the coupler and then pull back until the ball sits perpendicular to the ground.
Check out the picture I attached that shows the system being pulled up underneath a coupler.
