In 2015 Chevy started putting integrated brake controllers in their trucks that were compatible with electric over hydraulic actuator systems.
Your 2017 Chevy brake controller would work well with the electric over hydraulic actuator you have.
The factory-installed integrated brake controller in your 2017 Chevrolet Silverado uses an OEM connector that is not compatible with aftermarket brake controllers from Tekonsha and others. But since there is wiring in place under the dash to allow for aftermarket brake controller installation you can still install a versatile and easy-to-use proportional controller like the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195. This is among the most popular and reliable units offered and it is shown in the linked video.
The linked article specifically outlines the process for splicing such a brake controller into the existing wiring under your dash. The wires are located above your left shin as you are seated in the driver's seat.
