Drop Leg Jacks Needed for Loading Equipment on a 14,000 lb Equipment Trailer

Question:

Have an older 14k GVWR equipment trailer for my skid steer. Could these work as support feet on the back of the trailer to keep the trailer from lifting when loading/unloading. The trailer has 4 sleeves already welded on the 4 corners.

The Pro Series Square Jack - Drop Leg w/ Spring Return, # PS1400950376, that you referenced would work well for your trailer, but you would most likely have to do some fabrication to install this jack on each side at the rear. The outside dimension of this jack is 4 inches square.

I produced a short video showing 3 jacks, the one you mentioned, the same jack without a spring return drop leg, # PS1400990376, and an 8,000 lb jack, # PS1400800383, that would most likely work also.

Two 8,000 lb jacks would be large enough for a 14,000 GVWR trailer and you would be able to use the drop leg to quickly get close to the ground for loading your equipment. The drop leg on the 8,000 lb jack is completely removable so you could slide the jack into the existing sleeves on your trailer if the inside dimension is 2-1/2 inches square.
