The Air Lift AirLift 1000HD Air Helper Springs for Coil Springs part # AL60818HD for the 2016 Ram 1500 are designed to provide additional support to the vehicle's factory suspension and fix rear sag due to carrying heavy cargo. They are not designed to raise the truck past it's stock height when loaded or empty but if you are experiencing rear sag they will fix that. The bags are also adjustable from 5 PSI to 50 PSI to level your vehicle front to rear so you won't have any issues with leveling out the truck. You can always let some of the air out when you are not towing.

To make adjusting the bags easier, I recommend to add an Air Lift Load Controller Compressor System for Air Helper Springs part # AL25856 so you can adjust the bags from the cab without carrying around a bulky compressor with you or stopping for air at the gas station. The AIr Lift Compressor system is dual path so you can do side to side leveling in the truck bed if you need to as well. I have attached an installation video for your reference.
