Thule Stacker Kayak Carrier Recommendation for a 2000 Jeep Cherokee

Question:

I have a 2000 Jeep Cheroke Larado with a factory roof rack. Owners manual says it can carry up to 400 lbs. We have 3 sit on tops 2 -10 ft which weigh 50 lbs, and a 10.5 ft that weights 75 and one Dager 9.5 which weighs 40 lbs I like the stacker - will it work for me if one of our kayaks is 10ft 6 inches?? Will I need the extended cross bars??

Since one of your kayaks is over 10 feet long you will need to get the Thule Hull-A-Port Pro Folding J-Style Rooftop Kayak Carrier # TH834.

If you have a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee the factory cross bars will be adequate for you to attach the # TH834to, if you have a 2000 Jeep Cherokee then you will first need an aftermarket roof rack additionally. Check out the link I attached that shows all the different racks that would work for you.
