E-bike with front fender hitch rack compatibility

The Kuat NV base rack, # BA22B, has a maximum weight capacity of 60lbs per bike so this rack will not work with the RadCity Step-thru bike. ln addition this bike has a front fender which is also not compatible with the Kuat NV base rack. But the Thule EasyFold X2, part # TH903202, was designed specifically to carry e-bikes.

Instead of clamping the front wheel, like the Kuat NV base rack would do, the Thule EasyFold X2 has an adjustable clamp that attaches to the frame. The rack comes with two clamps, one for each bike. The Thule EasyFold X2 has a weight carrying capacity of 65lbs per bike and it comes with a ramp to help load a heavier e-bike on the rack without having to lift the bike. This rack will also work with traditional bikes.
