Ideally you would be able to get the measurement of your axle by using a precision instrument like dial calipers. There may also be a sticker or a tag on the trailer or axle that tells you the rated weight capacity of your axle.
If you are looking to replace the bearings, races, or seals on your trailer, you can disassemble your hub, and remove the components, and use the numbers stamped on them for replacements. I have attached a link to a helpful article that explains how to replace hub components. I have also attached a link to a drawing that shows where the numbers are on hub components. If you are wanting to replace your hub, I will be happy to help you out if you can send me the B and C dimensions on the attached drawing.
I saw that you submitted another question asking about the weight capacity of a 1-1/4 inch trailer axle. Typically, for trailers, the weight rating is stamped on the axle or on a plate or sticker that lists the weight capacity. I spoke with one of my contacts at an axle supplier we use, and they were unable to give me any information on an axle that measured 1-1/4.
