Does Curt Double Lock Gooseneck Hitch Fit 2001 Ford F-150

Question:

Hi I have a 2001 f150 with a 6 and half foot bed and Im confused on if I can mount this gooseneck hitch onto it cause it doesnt seem to have the pre made holes that would line up with the holes on the mounts in the pictures

I went ahead and checked with Curt and and the Curt Double Lock, Flip and Store Underbed Gooseneck Hitch # C60722 is the correct fit for a gooseneck on your 2001 Ford F-150.

Having said that, your truck does need to have the holes in the side rails, with the only exception being one hole that you will drill as shown in the diagram from the instructions. If for some reason your truck doesn't have these holes then the hitch won't be able to fit, but we haven't heard of or seen a truck that doesn't have the holes in the frame rails.
