Im looking for a brake controller for a 2005 GMC 3500 that is compatable with the allision electronic down shifting transmission.

The Tekonsha P-3 Brake controller, part # 90195 should work just fine with your vehicle. You will also need a vehicle specific wiring harness, # 3051-P that will plug into a port under your dash and make the installation a plug and play. I have added a link below of the most popular brake controllers and the harnesses for your vehicle. I would stick with proportional controllers as they will provide smoother braking with a down shifting transmission.
