Can 2 J-Style Kayak Carriers be Used to Carry Kayaks on 48 Inch Long Thule Crossbars

I have a Thule roof rack with a 48inch bar. Can I haul two Kayaks on this with J mounts?

Yes, you can use 2 J-style kayak carriers on your 48 inch long Thule crossbars. I recommend the Yakima JayLow, # Y04073. It is compatible with your Thule roof rack and has an 80 pound capacity. The center to center distance between the crossbars will have to be at least 24 inches to safely carry a kayak or kayaks. I have included a link to a video review of this carrier for you.
