Specs:
This telescoping towing mirror replaces your OEM side-view mirror and provides the extended view needed for safe towing. Now you can change lanes, merge, and pass other cars with confidence, even with a trailer in tow.
The mirror face on the custom mirror can be pulled out to give you an extended field of vision for towing. Simply push the mirror back for regular use.
The entire mirror housing conveniently folds toward your vehicle for easy parking or maneuvering in tight spaces.

Today we're going to take a look at the K-Source custom manual passenger side extendable towing mirror. Now this is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 2007 and 2014 Cadillac, Chevrolet and GMC trucks and SUVs. Now because it fits so many different vehicles, I do recommend to go to our website, use our fit guide, put in your model vehicle and it will show you if this'll work on your application. Now this is an extendable towing mirror, which will replace your factory passenger side mirror on your vehicle. There's no need to get any of the snap-on or strap-on towing mirrors that you constantly have to put on and take off.
The telescoping function right here makes it easy to see around the side of your trailer, so that yu can safely change lanes, pass or park. Basically all you have to do is just pull the mirror just like this away from your vehicle and it extends your life of sight by about four inches and then when you're done towing, all you have to do is just push it right back into place. Now the mirror face itself is a manual adjustment, so you do need to just use your hand to adjust it where you need it and if you'll notice the littler mirror here at the bottom, that's a built-in spotter mirror. This will help produce blind spots. That is also a manual adjustment. It does have the hinge design, which allows it to fold up against the vehicle for parking or for fitting into tight spaces.
It is a durable plastic housing, has a nice textured black finish to it and again, this is custom fit for your vehicle. It is a simple no-drill installation. You can see it has the same footprint and mounting points as the factory mirrors, even has the new foam gasket included and again this is the passenger side mirror only. A few specs on this, I'm going to measure the mirror just to let you know the size. We're going to measure the height from the bottom to the top including the spotter mirror and then the overall width. So if we do the width first of the mirror, you're looking at 7-3/4 inches and the height from the bottom to the very top right at 12 inches tall.
Now the retracted length, right now it's in the retracted position, so the retracted length would be measured from here to here as 18-1/2 inches and the extended length, again when you pull it out the 4 inches, from here to here's going to be 22-1/2. Then you just push it right back in. That should do it for the review on the K-Source custom manual passenger side extendable towing mirror.

Custom, manual towing mirror replaces the passenger's-side mirror on your vehicle. The mirror telescopes out to extend your line of sight. The built-in spotter mirror reduces blind spots. No-drill installation.I ordered K-Source towing mirrors.. back ordered but eTrailer worked magic..
I did read one line in the instructions, (DON"T DROP A BOLT INSIDE THE DOOR PANEL)
Installation was 20 minutes start to finish with a 10mm deep socket/ratchet and screwdriver.
I did NOT remove door panels, you can bend them back far enough to reach all three bolts. Remove the triangle plug on top of the door that's behind the mounting bolts for the mirrors. Remove three 10mm nuts and swapped mirrors. It could go faster with another set of hands to hold the mirror as you install the bolts.
Note1. Be sure to use the foam piece that comes with the new mirrors, it's a gasket to help make the whole thing fit. I think that's photo number three.
End result, these mirrors do yield to pressure to make them swing back if you're in a tight spot. Road trip is next to see how much they may move.
I'm very impressed with the quality construction, they feel/look top notch. These are OEM factory quality indeed.
Thanks again Samantha G..
