How to Wire up a Pollak 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector on a 2002 Chevy Silverado
Question:
I followed the video instructions and found that the right turn and running lights connections were reversed. The video instructs you to connect brown on the pigtail wiring to green on the vehicle. For my vehicle this was wrong. You may want to verify, or it could be my vehicle was different. But, by matching the brown to brown and green to green the trailer wiring connector is correct now.

I am glad you were able to get the wiring of your vehicle figured out. We apologize if the video confused you. Vehicles don't always have the same color wires.
The best way to wire up trailer connectors is by function, using a circuit tester like our part # 3808 to test all of the wires to determine their function and wire the connector up accordingly. I attached an FAQ on trailer wiring that has diagrams for you to check out as well.
