Hi everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install these WeatherTech front HP floor mats on our 2023 Ford Bronco. This is gonna be a great custom fit upgrade to your floor mats that offer a nice weather resistant material and give you much more coverage in the Bronco. Let's check 'em out. Now right away, there's gonna be a couple things that help hold us in place.
We've got all of these grippy nibs on the bottom that'll bite into the carpet, and these two red circles are gonna utilize factory anchor points on the floor of the Bronco. When paired up with the custom fit nature of the mat, it's gonna be held in place really well, and it just drops right in. I'm gonna pull the old floor mat out 'cause one thing I do wanna show is how much more coverage you get. And when I lay this over the top, you can see just how much extra coverage we're getting. You'll see that once it's in the vehicle too, but our dead pedal and much further up underneath the gas and the brake are gonna be covered too, as well as these high sidewalls to keep moisture and dirt in.
We'll just feed this in over the seat. This material has a little bit of flex to it, enough to easily feed this in and push those anchor points down. And right away it's fitting perfectly over the door jamb here and around all of the floorboard. The passenger side is gonna install the exact same way. On this one, there's only one factory anchor point, but we'll push it in all the same.
And again, you can see that custom fit shape and it's really important on the Bronco 'cause there is this small lip on the floorboard right here. It's mirrored on the driver's side, but having something custom fit around those odd shapes is gonna result in a much better quality floor mat and keep things clean in your Bronco. The grooves on the mat and this basin underneath mean that anything wet, like maybe some melted snow or mud with water is going to drain out into this pool here, where we can clean it up much easier. And because the thermoplastic material here is a little more rubberized, it's got a bit of flex, it's very easy to get in and out of the Bronco. So if we need to do a heavier clean, we can just put it on the driveway, spray it down with the hose with some soapy water and it'll be good as new.
And with the carpet mat back in place, you're gonna see all the extra coverage we get up here where our passenger's feet are gonna be, all along the side walls where it's going to keep things from spilling over the sides of that carpet mat. It's all going to be contained now on the new WeatherTech one and back in this corner, where that weird ridge was. We're getting a whole extra bit of coverage here, and that's really all there is to it. The WeatherTech mats are gonna be a really big upgrade from the standard carpet mats that come with your Bronco. The coverage on these I was really unimpressed by, which made the WeatherTech ones just seem that much better. It's gonna protect your floors a lot more, and the material's gonna be very easy to clean and it's gonna be much more weather resistant. So I think it gives the Bronco a good look and it's gonna keep it clean for a long time. If you wanna outfit the rest of your Bronco with the second row mats or the cargo area protector, you can find those here at etrailer as well. And they're all gonna be custom fit so you can trust the fit and the finish is gonna be one that matches with this front seat. I have used Weather Tech floor mats in all of my vehicles. Keeps the interior really clean and protects the carpet.
Great floor mats and they fit super tight in the floor area.
This is my second set of these floor mats (new car). They are a great fit, tough, and deep enough to collect all the snow that are on my boots. Can't go wrong with them.
High quality floor mats
The floor mats are a disappointment. They are too big and just don’t fit right. I removed the factory mats, but the only way they might possibly fit is if I remove all factory carpeting. I’m not going to do that. The hold down anchors are also in the wrong spots, none of the four anchors line up. They are not worth the price.
This is the 4th set of Weather Tech floor mats we have used in different cars and truck. The fit is always great, and they hold up very well.
The mats fit perfectly and as usual are of high quality. I have never had a problem with anything I have purchased from e trailer.

Was dissapponted that these do not have the weather teck emblem , just a molded in logo, seems cheap for a very expensive mat

Etrailer did a great job getting us just what we ordered.
HOWEVER, feedback to weather tech... we were looking for something that could cover up the metal latches on the floor in the back of the Jeep, bc my dog sits back there. This doesn't do what i needed it to do.
We may get a super cheap, cut out mat or a yoga mat for him.
I think he may have cut himself on one of the metal hooks. They are there for the storage bay, which we took out to make room for - guess who, ... the dog, LEVI!

They fit great. Do trim them so they don’t get caught by the lower edge of the door and curl them up. Just noticed that there was trim instructions on the bottom of the mat. Now they fit great.
I have always purchased the floor liners however I decided to try the 3d floor mats for my new truck. These are every bit as good as the liners in my opinion. They provide extra coverage over the door sills and are more pliable as well. The Weathertech name is imprinted on the mat instead of the label on the floorliners which will over time lose the adhesive backing and become dislodged with the heel of your shoes. Unfortunately I've had this experience with the floorliners, while not affecting its performance, it can be unattractive with glue residue left behind. I've always let the liners or mats sit out of the box at room temperature for 24 hours then install with perfect fitment every time. If you're on the fence about these mats give them a try, you won't be disappointed.
