This aluminum fork block mounts to any flat surface to let you store 1 bike after removing your front tire. Permanently install it on your truck bed or bed rails to transport your bike with you or mount the block to a wall to store it in your home, garage, or office. It also works as an additional or replacement fork block to use on your Saris Traps Single or Triple Track Bike Rack (sold separately). It includes a 9-mm quick-release skewer to secure your bike to the mounting area.
The Traps fork block can be permanently mounted on any flat surface, such as your truck bed or bed rails. Bolt-mounted installation requires drilling (hardware not included).
Fork blocks can be located anywhere along the Traps Single Track or Triple Track, depending on your desired bike placement. For multiple bikes place the fork blocks closer together to get the most our of your storage area, or further apart for easy access. Staggering the fork blocks along the Triple Track allows your handlebars to align parallel to help prevent them from bumping into each other and causing scratches and other damages.

We bought the fork mounts and bike carrier base to use inside my Honda Element. We had been "stuffing" our bikes in the back and securing them with cords going all over the place...and the bikes still shifted while driving. This system holds the bikes VERY secure, even while turning corners. The installation was easy and the bikes fastened up quickly once the front tires were off. This was an excellent investment and I would recommend this system for anyone transporting bikes inside a car.
