Jeff: Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at these 3156 LED Bulbs with the Wedge Base. They do have a 360 degree beam angle, cool white color, and it is for a quantity of two bulbs. Now, these are LED tower bulbs, which will upgrade or replace the 3156 light bulbs to provide a nice, cool, white lighting. It is great for side hanging or overhead applications and these are also great for automotive applications.

It is a multi-directional design. It does emit light 360 degrees around the bulb, and it is a 12 volt bulbs so it has many applications in your RV, trailer, boat, or vehicle. The LEDs do make great replacements for incandescent bulbs because they're rated for up to 50,000 hours. There are about 75% more efficient because they'll provide brighter light with less power output, and, of course, there's no bulbs to replace or brittle filaments to break this.These are compatible with dimmable fixtures for a nice simple adjustment of light brightness. They do offer a built in surge protection which will safeguard internal electronics and it is a wedge based design.

It mounts into a compatible fixture. And it is non-polarized which means it's a very easy installation, no wiring changes, meaning when you go in to insert this into the mount, you can put it in this way, or turn it and put it in this way. Either way you install it, it will still light up. Quantity is for two bulbs. Light output is 220 lumens and the bulb type we mentioned is 3156.

The base type is a T25 wedge base. Light type, it's a cool white. The color temperature is 5500 Calvin. It does have 24 LEDs per bulb. The wattage is 2 watts.

It replaces up to a 20 watt halogen bulb and the power draw at 12 volts is 0.17 amps.What I'm going to do now is hook this up to some 12 volt power just to show you how bright they are. And I did mention it's non-polarized, so again, you don't have to worry about where the ground goes or where the power goes. You can use it for either one. Once I get these hooked up, I'm going to go ahead and turn on the power, and you can see with our power on, make sure we make a good connection there, there we go. Very bright LEDs. I'm going to go ahead and turn off the power. And you can see, we've mentioned it's 360 degree around the bulb. inaudible 00:00:02:24. Cool white color. Very bright bulb. I'm going to turn back on our overhead lights and I'll go ahead and turn off our power.
