All 5th wheel hitches we have confirmed to fit your 2016 Ram 2500 with 6-1/2-foot bed and with Factory Rail kit (the puck system) are shown on the linked page. None of these is an Andersen product but we do have excellent options from B&W, Demco and others that provide the sliding type hitch you need for proper turning clearance in your short-bed truck.

The advantage of the factory rail/puck system is primarily that it allows you to have a completely clear bed for times when you're not towing but instead need to haul cargo.

The 20K-rated B&W Companion Slider hitch # BWRVK3670 mounts directly in the pucks without any other parts needed. The B&W is arguably among the finest 5th wheels on the market. B&W does their own in-house design and fabrication and this hitch includes features like a round tube slider for less binding and 1-inch-thick jaws for excellent king pin contact.

Other hitches, such as the Reese, Curt and Pro Series models like # RP30051 cannot directly mount in the pucks; these require an adapter such as # RP30154 which adds cost, complexity and several inches of height to the set-up.
