Today on our 2012 Chevy Silverado, we're gonna be taking a look at the WeatherTech custom fit front floor mat. So right now we have them on the truck and the nice thing about these is, it's going to be a custom fit for your vehicle. So it's not just going to contain all that water, it's also just going to kind of custom mold all your custom trim that you have in your vehicle. So if you're wanting something that basically looks OEM but it ain't, this is going to be the way to go. Like I said, this is my favorite format, just because of the custom fit, it's gonna keep all that water contents in, and it just looks really really nice. What sets us apart from some of the other formats that you may see is it is a one-piece system.
So we have this little middle section completely covered 'cos we do have three seats in the front, so a lot of the times when we have the whole entire family in here, someone's definitely sitting in the middle of the front. So with that, you don't have to worry about the carpet because everything underneath is carpet. And with this, as you can see this molds right in, and there's no little pockets or anything like that. So it's a really nice fit and it gets the whole entire front completely covered. So you do have some options when it comes to floor mats, you can grab just the driver and passenger side separate, and we're not going to have the middle covered up.
I just think having the middle covered up one looks better, and two it's just gonna protect all of your carpet, might as well protect all of it. And then you also have some of the semi-custom fits which is, this is what we had in here before. And as you can see, there's a lot more surface area covered. And that left a lot of space for crumbs and stuff to get into the carpet. I just don't like cleaning and detailing my car.
So just by upgrading from our semi custom fit to our custom fit, I'm literally not gonna have to vacuum or anything ever again. I detailed my truck, I take care of the carpets and I put this down and it's good to go whenever we need to clean them out, you just pull it out, spray it off and that's basically detailing your truck. It's so much easier and just for resale value and just the time and effort you put into cleaning your truck might as well make it last and cover the rest of it up. I've detailed cars my whole entire life and a lot of the problem areas is down in these little cracks and of course, right in between our trim and the carpet. That's where a lot of this stuff is kind of piles up and starts to stay in the carpet.
But having this completely go over that little crease where the trim and the carpet meet, it's just gonna be so nice to just make it a lot easier on ourselves, to clean everything up. A lot of times when I'm in a truck or any vehicle, I tend to put my feet up here. So I like how it kind of goes up. Up there I'm not away just so I'm not getting the carpet up there all dirty and nasty. A lot of times it gets pretty muddy. I mean, we're in a truck so typically we usually use this truck for hauling around cattle and stuff like that on the farm, so it gets really dirty. With this doesn't really matter where I put my feet we're good to go. At the end of the day, I want everybody in the truck to be comfortable, so I don't want them to be timid to put their feet just in a specific spot. Usually I'm just like, put your feet on the floor mats, make sure you don't get any mud or snow anywhere. With this I don't even have to say that so everybody's going to be nice and comfortable. And that's always a plus. It's a win-win. Also check out the difference in color here. Obviously our trims a little bit dirtier than our floor mat since they're brand new, but it's basically like an OEM look, the textures, the OEM look, which I really liked. And if I we're to compare this to some look, cause there are a lot of different options we have on our website. I just personally like the WeatherTechs, but Husky Liner makes some good ones as well, but this is going to be your only one piece front floor mat that you have. So if you like that I do, go ahead and go with this one. But with some of the other ones that we have, they're not as custom fit, they're more just a flat mat. I just like the ones that kinda come up because there are spills whenever we're going down the road, whether it's a soda, water, or just snow that's melting after you're walking around outside. So I would definitely recommend these but definitely check out everything else we have on our website. They were not what I thought they would be I thought the sides would have came up so if something was spilled on the floor the carpet would be protected.

The fit is lacking quite a bit (like 3-5 inches off in places) also wish I didn’t get the one that covers the whole floor in one piece. I wish it was 3 pieces that snap together for easier cleaning because this design you end up dumping all the crud on the floor of the truck while trying to take the mat out to clean it.

Does not fit the 2018 Hymer Aktiv class B motorhome on Promaster chassis. See pictures. notches for seat posts are not even close. The floormat extends into passenger side lower step well causing trip/foot snag when entering vehicle. Does not extend into area between seats leading to another raised area prone to trip/foot snag. Not good for RV use. I gave it two stars for quality of material. I'll be requesting return/refund.
The mat is exact size needed! One mat is waaay better than the individual ones that came with the Sprinter!

This was the longest hitch ball mount I could find anywhere. I used it with a short extension for my 2021 T G so that I could open the back doors without hitting the trailer wheel crank. With my new trailer, Intact Flyer Discover, I don't need the extension and can still open the doors. Works well.
Cargo mat delivered did not completely
Fit the cargo area. I'm assuming the wrong mat was sent. 2018 Chevy Equinox LS . Waiting for response back from eTrailer. I called 800 # on July 11, 2017 three times from 4:30pm to 5pm EST and computer prompt for service with product was #3. On hold twice for over 15 minutes with no explanation or human contact. Called third time and used prompt 1 for sales thinking they would surely pick this call up. Same 15 minutes on hold without any contact. Hung up again after unnecessary wait.
Hopefully this will get worked out and at the minimum a credit should be offered for the screw up and non existent customer phone service.
Received the mats 6 days after ordering using the "free shipping "option. I feel this is reasonable and the tracking provided was accurate and up to date.
Now about the mats. I have owned many vehicles and have always tried to protect the interior and keep it as new looking as possible. I believe these mats will help me do that. In s word, they are great. They fit really well and the color match is spot on. The texture is non-slip and they are flexible enough that taking them in and out is a very easy. In short they are perfect for my vehicle and I would most certainly buy them again.
I will definitely use "etrailer" again for any products I need that they carry.

I started looking for these floor mats by going to the WeatherTech website. I put in all the truck info and was surprised and disappointed to see that no mats came up. Then I did a google search and they came right up on etrailer.com. I was a bit skeptical that they weren't available from the manufacturer, but I could get them here. I received them today and they are the real deal. The price was competitive and they were delivered in two days! Great job etrailer!
The product fit, at a gamble for me, ordering for a 2023 version of a 2022 product. I've previously been helped and appreciative of eTrailer for their stellar service and excellent video instruction.

Fits perfectly. This is my 4th set of Weathertech floor mats and all have proven to be great!
WeatherTech stands true to their claims of custom fit. My floor mats dropped in place with no effort. So much nicer looking than the plastic flooring in the cab of my motorhome. Clean up will be easier now that the mats are in place.

Fitment is not great. I would choose another brand for my next purchase. I had an issue that Weathertech said they would not correct. However etrailer corrected the issue themselves. I would definitely buy from etrailer again but never anything made by Weathertech.
