Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this 180 inch long 3/8 inch thermal plastic high pressure hose with the 3/8 inch female flare swivel ends on it. Now, this is a 3/8 inch internal diameter general purpose hose assembly. I had to choose for LP and natural gas connections. The length we mentioned on this is 180 inches. On the ends, both ends, it has the 3/8 inch female flare swivels on each end.
I'm gonna zoom in up close, just to show you. There's both ends with the swivels on it. Now, the wrench size that fits these ends, to tighten them down, is three quarters of an inch. And this hose is a thermal plastic construction, which is a plastic polymer, which will become more soft when it's heated and hard when it's cool. This is typically used to connect portable propane gas equipment to a propane supply, or you can even use this for a slide out on your RV to connect to the main piping system.
This is approved for all RV use in the USA and Canada, and this part is made in the USA. The max pressure rating on this hose is 350 PSI, and the temperature range is a negative 40 degrees Fahrenheit, up to 140 degrees Fahrenheit. It is a backup item and haven't had to use it, but glad to have it at the ready.
