Perfect hideaway fit for a pickup hitch with a roll Pan and using a flip up license plate bracket. Easy install. I’m a prior and continuing Etrailer customer.

A year later and still happy with this hitch, towing with it 1000s of miles.

by:

Finish is holding up well..works for my roll pan style rear bumper replacement with minor modifications to the roll pan...had one minor frame bolt location adjustment to get 6 grade 8 fasteners in the mix-no skimping !!
No additional hardware was needed..

by:

Fit on my 2006 silverado with a 4/6 drop and roll pan no problem. Now I got to move the cords for air up shock that I dont like at all, rather have real shocks and change my muffler

by:

The trailer hitch arrived even a day earlier then expected. It was packed very good and in excellent shape. Would recommend e trailer
to all my friends and family.

Its been a year ago that I installed my receiver hitch on my SS Truck. It mounted perfectly with the existing holes in the frame as it said in the catalog. This is very well made with heavy steel. I highly recommend this product to anyone! Gary J.

by:

Great product got it fast but I think you guys should start bubble wrapping..my hitch was bent possibly during shipping but I used a hole punch and made it work.

It sounds like that the side brackets were knocked out of alignment. This can happen while in transit to our facility or to you. We do have a great FAQ that provides ways to move the brackets back into alignment so the hitch can be installed.

Great item

by:

I would like to start off by giving etrailer.com a great review. Best prices out there. Good shipping time. Even with memorial day it showed up Very fast.

The Curt hitch I ordered seems like a nice product. The only grip/problem I have with it is the fact that it comes with carriage bolts, and a square hole bar for the top side of the frame. While attempting to install this hitch; the bar is not long enough and does not stop spinning when tightening down the bolts.

So now I need to go to the hardware store and buy hardware that I can actually put a wrench on, because I don't want to fool around with a silly bar that doesn't do its job.

2007 Chevrolet Silverado

This reciever hitch was very well built. I was looking for a hidden hitch for my new body 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 to pull my camper and this met my expectations.

by:

Delivery was exceptional fast. I have very thing installed and love my new trailer hitch. No one even knows it is there. My next challenge is finding something to help assist my rear suspension when towing. My truck has a 6" lowered drop in the rear.

by:

the hitch is good and tucks up nice behind the roll pan, but it's a real pain in the axx to put the hitch pin in place. you need to open the hole in the roll pan to fit your hand in there.

by:

The trailer hitch that I bought from etrailer.com was exactly what I needed. It arrived when they said it would and installed as they said it would.

by:
2006 Chevrolet Silverado

This is my second hitch and it's just as good as my first hitch powder coating is just beautiful on there it's so smooth and its built very strong will do more business with etrailer. Brian was very helpful.

Bought this hitch on Sunday afternoon was here Wednesday took 20 minutes to put on only cause I had to drop spare tire and move roll pan brackets sturdy built all hardware was supplied like it says I will always buy curt

by:

13932 Roll Pan hitch tucked nicely behind the factory bumper for easy access behind the license plate. Used 4 of the supplied bolts and reused the lower bumper bolts for mounting.

I have a 2005 Silverado with a roll pan and a 2/3 drop. This hitch is a Perfect fit. Came with all the bolts needed.

  • Will Curt 13932 Class III Hitch Work on 2001 Chevy Silverado with Body Lift
The hitch will work on a truck that's equipped with a body lift, but the receiver probably won't line up with the license plate well in your roll pan because the space between the frame and truck body has increased. Where the receiver will sit in relation to the roll pan will depend on how much height the lift adds. I've provided a photo showing where the receiver tube would typically sit on a vehicle without a body lift.

  • Trailer Hitch Fits for 2006 Chevrolet Silverado Classic Z71
The 2006 model year Chevy trucks were a split model year (C/K Series and Silverado). To select the correct Curt Class IV hitch for your truck you can use the linked page to choose your Vehicle Style. Use the drop-down menu tool to choose your specific configuration. For the standard 1500 use Curt # C14332. For the 1500 with 10-inch deep-drop bumper use Curt # 13339 (Class III). If the 1500 has an aftermarket Roll Pan Bumper use # 13932 (also Class III). If you have a different version...

The only trailer hitch we offer for a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 which installs behind the license plate is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 13932 which is designed specifically for models with an aftermarket roll pan bumper. If you have a standard rear bumper then your only option is one that mounts underneath, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 13322.

I checked with Reese and they have no hitch part 36069 showing on their website. I did find it elsewhere on the web but it is discontinued/out of stock. I checked with my contacts at Reese and was able to find out that this item fit various Chevy, Dodge and Ford vehicles from the late 70s through the late 90s. It does not fit any truck after model year 1999. If you intend to re-install this hitch on a compatible vehicle please note you will need a new hardware kit # RHK. Hitch hardware...

  • Trailer Hitch Recommendation for Lowered 2001 Chevy Silverado 1500
If you have the stock bumper then the hitches made to fit the stock bumper would work well for you. For that we have the etrailer.com hitch part # e98849 as a confirmed fit. This won't fit behind the license plate though. The roll pan bumper hitches like the part # 13932 might work for this since that's how they install but we can't guarantee they'll work with the factory bumper.

  • Hitch Receiver for 2001 Chevy Silverado with Roll Pan Bumper That Does Not Use License Plate Hole
You are correct. For the 2001 Chevy Silverado 1500, the Curt # 13932 is the only available hitch that can be used with the roll pan bumper. If you wanted to use one of the hitches designed to circumvent the deep drop bumpers that were often found on this model you could use the Curt # 13339. However, this is still a Class III hitch receiver, so it would not increase your towing capacity and there is not anything for use with an aftermarket roll pan bumper that is higher rated than that....
