Replacement Brakes System to Upgrade 2006 Sea Doo Boat Trailer

Question:

I wasn’t specific enough. I’m sorry. If I measure the diameter of the hub on the back/open side, it measures about 13” and has a 6 bolts which has, if measured correctly, a 5 1/2” bolt pattern. Sorry for the missed information. How would that affect the parts to order?

I'm happy to help with all the parts for your 2006 Sea Doo trailer. I did a little research and it appears it is a single axle trailer, for which I recommend the following parts:

-Kodiak Disc Brake Kit - 10" Hub/Rotor - 5 on 4-1/2 - Dacromet - 3,500 lbs # K2HR35D
-Kodiak Hydraulic Brake Line Kit - Single Axle - 18' # 18SI-BLKIT
-Demco Hydraulic Brake Actuator w/ Electric Lockout - Disc - Zinc - 2" Ball - 7,000 lbs # DM62VR

This combination is what I would use for excellent trailer brakes and an easy installation. I've attached videos and a help article to assist.

If you want to stick with drum brakes, then you would use # AKFBBRK-35-D assemblies for # AKHD-545-35-G-K hubs and then use actuator # DM72VR for drum brakes. You can use the same # 18SI-BLKIT brake line kit.

Thanks for the update. Yes, that will impact the correct parts but we can get you what you need. I still recommend going with the brake line kit # 18SI-BLKIT and the brake actuator # DM72VR. With these parts you will use the Hydraulic Brake Kit - Uni-Servo - Free Backing - Dacromet - 12" - Left/Right Hand - 5.2K to 7K # AKFBBRK-7-D and then the Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly - 6,000-lb Axles - 12" Diameter - 6 on 5-1/2 - Galvanized # AKHD-655-6-G-K.
