Best Bike Rack Set Up For 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited With Spare Tire
Question:
Will this bike rack clear the spare tire and which anti-rattle bolt and wire lock are compatible? I am having a tough time finding bike racks that clear the jeeps spare tire and was wondering if you guys had any recommendations. Thanks!

If you want to use the Swagman XC 2-Bike Rack Platform Style Bike Rack with your 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited you will need a hitch extender. You don't need a whole lot of space so the Curt Hitch Extender for 2" Hitch Receivers - 8" Long Item # C45791 will be plenty. This will solve your problem. You will need to purchase a seperate cable and lock for this set up # S64031, but let me recommend something that comes with everything you need, I like a lot and REALLY would get if I had a Jeep like yours.
I really like the idea of a swing away system with a bike rack for jeeps. I've used different brands but they all really do the same thing. One stands out because you can get one that pivots to the passenger or driver side. The Kuat Pivot 2 Swing Away Hitch Extender # PVD20B has both options! I like the drivers side swing away system just because you'll have your rear hatch open to the passenger side and your bike rack swing to the drivers side. Makes a perfect little station to hangout or work on your bikes. With the Kuat Pivot, I would then grab the Kuat NV 2.0 2-Bike Platform Rack - 2" Hitches - Tilting - Metallic Black # NV22B because it gives you a work station and it's a great rack!
The Swagman XC will work with the pivot system if you wanted that rack specifically. So, if you are just wanting the basic set up, grab the extender and the Swagman rack. If you want to have the best set up for your jeep, grab the Kuat NV2.0 and the Kuat Pivot! The Kuat setup will turn heads and get A LOT of respect from hardcore bikers.
