2007 Isuzu N-Series

Installed on 2007 Isuzu NPR chassis with frame extensions for bumper brackets.
This hitch DOES fit. Actual hitch width is 33.75 inches so it fit perfectly between the bumper bracket extensions. Slid in Like buttah.
Hardware length allowed for avoiding a bolt head protruding from the frame and installing double shims from underside. Very helpful.
5.5 inch drop put receiver below the bumper. Thank you etrailer for pictured measurements.

real good havent pulled anything yet

by:

Hitch fit good on a 74 Ford super camper special. There we two rivets on the frame for a crossmember that I ground down and drilled out because they were exactly where I wanted the front mounting hole on the hitch to be located. Other than that pretty good.

by:

Have not put the hitch thru any hauling duties, it was easy to install, l completed the install by myself.

Chevrolet

bought two of these receiver hitches, one for my 1987 GMC V1500 SWB and one for my 1984 Chevrolet K10 SWB. both went on perfectly and look great. Haven't pulled anything yet

This makes my 4th Curt hitch purchased from etrailer. 5th overall and they have all performed flawless. I pull a trailer probably 5 out of every 7 days. Always have excellent customer service from etrailer and recommend them to anyone needing a hitch.

by:

good piece,,,did excellent on shipping fast!!

I purchased a used ambulance as a work vehicle for my company. Needed a hitch but not sure which one I would need because of the ambulance box. One phone call to etrailer with their friendly operator and a referral number to tech support and I had my answer. A couple of quick measurements and I had my hitch product number. Placed my order online on a Monday, hitch arrived on Wednesday. Drilled the required holes in my vehicle
and I was in business. Fantastic service! Between friends an family we have ordered at least 6 hitches and accessories over the last several years.

What are the measurements and demensions of this hitch? I understand that all of the Chevy GMC 1/2 and 3/4 ton pickup frames are the same between 1967 and 1972. My truck is a 1969 C/10 long bed with the coil spring suspension. Will this hitch bolt up onto my frame without having to modify either the frame or hitch?

Patrick B.

2/25/2014

You will most likely still need to drill holes for the bolts to pass through the frame and the hitch. So long as your truck has 34 inch frame spacing and a standard bumper, you will not need to modify the hitch. Check out the instruction link on the product page, it will show you what is required to install the hitch. You can compare that with your frame and get a pretty good idea of how it will all go together.

by:
1970 Chevrolet C/K Series Pickup

Shipping was very fast, customer service excellent, product looks excellent as far as welds...if it wasnt for the numerous scratches, scrapes, etc. would have given 5 stars.

by:

Hitch is beautiful, I give it 6 stars.
I
didn't expect to have to drill holes in the frame to attach it. (subtract 2, for extra work)

by:

Great product and good service.

by:
1987 Chevrolet C/K Series Pickup

It’s perfect, you can barely see it, very beefy

by:

Really nice and easy to install. It does it’s job

by:

PRODUCT IS AS DESCRIBED, CAME IN A TIMELY MANNER, ANY QUESTIONS I HAD WAS ANSWERED WITH DUE DILIGENTS

by:

Too easy! etrailer made the purchase and shipping so easy and the install was a breeze!

by:

Talk to the guy about the Curt hitch that went bad and he was very rude, arrogant, and didn’t have any interest in listening to my explanation of what went wrong with the prior hitch.

  • What Vehicles Does The Curt Class IV - 2" Trailer Hitch C14082 Fit?
The Curt Class IV - 2" Trailer Hitch # C14082 fits a pretty long list of vehicles, but I have them all listed below. Just be aware that your vehicle must have 34" frame spacing (measured outside to outside) for it to fit properly. 1963 - 1980 Chevrolet C/K Series Pickup 6 Foot Bed with Standard Bumper 1981 - 1987 Chevrolet C/K Series Pickup 6 Foot Bed with Standard or Step Bumper 1963 - 1980 Chevrolet C/K Series Pickup 8 Foot Bed with Standard Bumper 1981 - 1987 Chevrolet C/K Series Pickup...

  • Bolt Hole Spacing of Curt Class IV Hitch Receiver 14082
From side to side, the mounting holes measure 31-1/4 inches apart, center to center. All three sets of holes are the same distance apart. From rear to front, beginning at the rear of the vehicle the distance from the first set of holes to the second is 3-1/4 inches. From the second set to the third set is 2-3/4 inches. I've provided a diagram showing these measurements.

  • Hitch for 1986 Chevy K10 Pickup Truck without Rear Bumper
As long as the truck doesn't have a roll pan, you can certainly install a hitch even though the truck doesn't have a bumper. If a 6000 lb towing/600 lb tongue weight capacity would work for you, I'd recommend the Curt Class III receiver hitch, part # 13028. If you'd like a hitch with a bit more capacity (which could be limited by the towing capacity of the truck if it's lower), the Curt Class IV hitch, part # C14082 is what I'd recommend. The Curt # C14006 you'd looked at is a fit for...

The Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 41947 is designed to fit the pickup versions of the 1977 Chevy C/K Series truck. Since you have the cab and chassis version you need to use the Curt Class IV Trailer Hitch Receiver # C14082 instead which fits as long as your frame is 34" wide outside to outside. This does require drilling for the installation but it is confirmed to fit your cab and chassis (as long as the frame width is correct as mentioned above). I'm not sure if the...

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch for 1985 Chevy C20 That Works With Rear Spare Tire
The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C14082 is what I recommend for a 1985 Chevrolet C20 as it will allow you to retain your spare tire. This hitch also has a hidden cross tube design with durable powder coat. In regards to a rear bumper, we don't have any options for step-side models unfortunately.

The measurement from the top of the tube to the mounting flange is 8-1/32 inches. The extended length was to make sure the hitch would clear the bumper. • Is Curt Hitch C14082 Weight Rating Based on Number of Bolts it Uses to Mount
It comes down to several factors but it's not just the amount of bolts that hold the hitch on that determines the capacity. The overall capacity of the Curt hitch part # C14082 factors in the thickness of the metal used, the bracket designs, the hitch tube capacity etc. Curt conservatively rates all of their hitches independently so I can assure you this perfectly safe to use up to 10,000 lbs trailer weight.

The best option we are going to have for a hitch for your 1995 Ford F-450 Cab and Chassis is the Curt hitch part # C14082 that is designed to fit 34 inch wide frames. This hitch requires some drilling so it would also require a bit of modification to get it to fit your vehicle.
