Lumens are used to measure the amount of usable light that is put out by a light source. Raw lumens represent the number of lumens that the manufacturer claims the LEDs are capable of producing. It does not include the light's drive method or the amount of light lost from the lens or reflector. Effective lumens take these factors into account and represent the number of lumens that are actually produced by the complete light assembly, not just the amount of light that the diodes are capable of producing. Stable lumens builds off the idea of effective lumens by measuring the amount of light produced after 30 minutes of usage, or once the diodes have reached their average operating temperature. These bulbs have a 3,000 raw lumen capacity per bulb and produce 1,995 effective lumens per bulb. The stable lumen capacity per bulb is 1,550 lumens.

Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and we're going to be taking a look at the 9007 LED bulbs with Anti-flicker Harness. Now, this is a great option to replace the headlight bulbs in your vehicle to get a brighter, longer-lasting light. And if your vehicle is equipped with PWM or CANBus electrical system, this is going to be a great idea or a great option so that it doesn't have that flickery effect that can sometimes happen with the LED bulbs. So if you're not sure if that's what you need, the easiest way to figure out if this is a particular fit for your vehicle is to use our fit guide here etrailer.com if you haven't already done so, put in your year, make and model, and then go from there to find your vehicle lights.So let's take a look at what comes in our kit. We're going to get there are two bulbs as well as the two harnesses, so one for either side.
Also comes with some instructions, a fun sticker, some double sided foam tape to hold up our harness pack there, and then also a couple of small zip ties to help with that as well. So I'm going to hook these up to power to show you how bright the light will be, roughly. Keep in mind that this doesn't have any kind of housing around it or reflective material which your headlights will when you have them installed, but it's still going to be a pretty nice bright light. And this is a custom fit, so you're not going to have to do what I'm doing here. This is just since I'm in the studio and I don't really have a way to hook this up, but there's the light.Turn out the lights in the studio, you can see it's going to be a nice, bright light.
Definitely going to be a very bright headlight for you. This can be used for highway use, city driving, can be used as your low light in your vehicle. So it's safe to use on the highway without blinding anybody. So we can turn the lights back on in the studio and let's talk about the more specific specs for these lights. So the lights themselves do have an integrated thermal management system that helps to dissipate the heat, keep from any kind of buildup and premature failure of the bulbs.
They are a plug and play design, as I mentioned, so the harness just goes right in between the bulb and your factory wiring. They are IP67 rated, so that means that they're impervious to dust and also to water. That IP rating is an Ingress rating. So it basically measures how much force has to go into getting any water in there. So these are rated for being able to withstand powerful jets of water.
So pretty hardy little lights there.The light output for these is going to be 3,000 lumens for the raw lumen output. The effective lumen output is 1,995 or just under 2,000 lumens. The stable lumens, which is the output after about 30 minutes is 1,550. So the number to really pay attention to is the effective lumens. That's going to be the more real world usage. That raw lumen output is in a perfect world with perfect circumstances, perfect settings. That's the potential for the lights but the effective lumens is more the number to really pay attention to. The color temperature is 6,500 Kelvins, so that's going to be that cool white color that you saw. The wattage is 16.5 Watts per bulb. The power draw at 13 volts is 1.3 amps per bulb. The operating range is between 7.5 volts and 16 volts DC. And it does have a two year limited warranty. And that's really about all there is to it for our look at the 9007 LED and harness kit. Plug-and-play installation.They are great. Anything better than stock lights. All the lights on my truck are LEDs now.
These worked fine in my 2022 Colorado. No brighter than the factory lights but the "right" color. Didn't need the anti-flicker harness though.
I've had the opportunity to use these LED's for about a month now and I can say they have worked great. They are exceptionally brighter than the OEM halogen bulbs with a slight blueish tint. I have tried other cheap LED's that flickered or pulsed and threw the light out everywhere, blinding oncoming traffic. These LED's have a very define cut-off line and concentrate the light appropriately. These are plug-and-play so it easy to install these in my quad headlights. I have a stock height truck so I didn't need to re-aim my headlights once I was done. I would suggest these as an upgrade from stock lights. Thanks etrailer!
