Recommended Flat Towing Equipment For A 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited

Question:

We have a 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with a stock plastic front bumper. We would like a front bumper with a winch that has slots/holes to attach a Falcon 2 hitch. In a perfect world, it would also allow the tow-wiring connection we will need. Do you have a combination of parts that would include those? You seem to have some of everything, so I thought i would ask for my dream set-up!

Unfortunately we do not currently carry a bumper that is rated to tow from. There are brands out there that will fit your 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and are rated for towing from the D-Ring mounts which would allow you to use the # RM-035-1 for 1" thick mounts or the # RM-035 for 3/4" thick mounts to attach to your Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar # RM-520.

To flat tow your 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited you'll also need a braking system, tow bar wiring kit, and safety cables. I have the following recommendations for you below:

Tow Bar Wiring Kit: Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267. This diode kit allows you to use your Jeep Wrangler Unlimited's tail lights and wiring system while preventing feedback from your RV. The included 7-wire to 6-wire Flexo-Coil electrical cord is resitant to water, oil, chemicals, and has silicone-injected plugs to prevent corrosion.

Braking System: Brake Buddy Stealth Supplemental Braking System - Proportional # HM39530. This system offers fully proportional braking with a system that never has to be removed, replaced, or reset. The actuator installs out of sight and remains virtually invisible when your car isn't being towed. The controller also doubles as a trailer brake controller and included charge line kit will prevent you from arriving at your destination with a dead battery.

Safety Cables: RoadMaster 68" Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables - 6,000lbs # RM-643. The coiled design of these cables helps prevent them from dragging on the ground and being damaged.

You may also need a high/low adapter to keep your tow bar level while towing your Jeep. I've attached our help guide article to assist you in measuring to find the correct adapter for your needs.
